Bartender and waitress were very good. Food delicious!

Oh man... get the bacon wrapped figs. Everything we ate here was so good. Only nitpick was that the front door didn't have a fully functioning closing mechanism so sometimes the door would be left open and on a cold winter night that was not cool... well it was, but not in a good way. But the food... amazing.

Over six visits and the service is constantly challenged. Food is decent pub fare and with shrimp and grits as a highlight. No longer attempting to dine here as the shared kitchen makes for slow service and high turnover makes for challenged, unskilled wait staff. On three different occasions food was returned for various issues. I do hope they improve.

We ate here twice during our fall foliage vacation and we never do that! But the Carlson's hard cider was on tap and the burgers were really amazing. But DO NOT LEAVE without trying the oysters!!!

Medium-rare burger was raw, pot stickers were deep fried. Salad had too many craisins and maybe 2 candied pecans Unimpressive.

My husband and I loved this place! Our waiter was great and so friendly, the food was amazing (especially the butternut squash ravioli and the homemade bread) and our dogs were able to sit with us on the outside tables. Absolutely recommend Markohs On Main!

Great place. Meat and cheese platter is fantastic. You can order off both Markos and Lucia's menu giving a multitude of menu options. Bartender and waitstaff awesome. Live music Friday and Saturday open mic night on Tuesday and Taco Tuesday special.

Amazing food and even better service!! Frank was our server and he was so friendly and personable. Service is fast, prices are resonable, food is DELICIOUS. This is our new fave summer spot. Definitely recommend !! We’ll be coming back for their $5 burgers on Wednesday. Also....we’d add a photo but our plates are ridiculously/embarrassingly empty now.

I don't have burgers often, but when I do I want one of quality. That's why I have my burger ration at Markoh's! Nice quality portions cooked to order. Food is only surpassed by the service!

I went to Markoh's last night for $5 burger night with some friends. Their food was great, very cool atmosphere, and our waitress Melissa was super friendly and awesome at her job. Highly recommend!

Had a super awesome waitress tonight! The food was great, live music, and just overall atmosphere had us coming back during our short weekend stay.

Went on open mic and .50 wings night. Peppadews were awesome. Wings were good - they know how to make them crispy so next time we won't ask for extra, extra crispy. Music, as with any open mic night, was mixed with some really good performers, some so-so, and one that was good on guitar but not so good at singing on key. Will definitely go again.

Food was decent, service was brutal. Dinner took over 2 hours, waiter was a flake, he disappeared for 15 minutes at a time and forgot to bring out drinks, soups, and a dessert. Steak tips overcooked, but didnt dare send them back, probably never would have see them again.

All meals I've had here have been great. You can get items from Markohs or Luccias menu which is pretty convenient. Wednesday nights are Burger nights which offer a special burger and a beer for $12 - have only done this once and it was delicious

We only really ever go for the $5 burgers. Huge plus is that they include veggie burgers in the deal! Great service.

One of the top 5 burgers I've had. Also their free Italian bread is amazing. Soft inside and a little crunchy on the outside.

Sat at the bar for 15 minutes and not even offered a menu or water.

A great place in a town that is gaining some steam. Wish they had a better selection of beer, but in the whole, a great place to grab dinner or a drink out.

Great place to eat, have a drink, listen to local music. Staff is great (Adam is our favorite)!! We were looking for a place to have a very small intimate wedding and Markoh’s made our evening absolutely perfect!

Top notch local bar/pub/restaurant. Tasty, creative menu, wide variety of drinks, and welcoming, attentive service on top of an excellent array of musical entertainment make Markoh's a consistently enjoyable place to visit. I wish they would pull up one of the oriental rugs to make a dance space.

Stopped here for cocktails after dinner one night. They have some coffee vodka and bourbon that are infused with the coffee from the shop next door. Those were excellent. They were a little on the pricey side, but they were very good and the bartender was awesome.

My wife daughter and I just had a very enjoyable dinner here. The bartender and waitress worked well together and service was quite pleasant. I had a basil mojito that was excellent. My daughter has a tree nut allergy that was handled very well. She was even able to enjoy the inhouse baked bread which is a rarity as most baked goods are not considered safe. She gave a big thumbs up to the calamari app, chicken fingers and fries. My wife had a chicken club and I the rt 2a giant. Both were excellent and huge, the 2a giant put me in mind of an excellent NY deli sandwich. I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant and hope that people will give it a few tries as I feel that the service issues others have mentioned will continue to improve if they are doing a consistent business.

Great place for a burger and beer.

Great little restaurant and bar in downtown Ayer, with wonderful service and live music. Enjoyed hearing Russell Watts accompanied by a fine guitarist, singing jazz standards, and blend of other pop and bluesy tunes, including a great version of God Bless the Child. Looking forward to returning.

Very good selection, appears to be a hidden gem in this downtown setting. Local talents provide entertainment in the evening. Friendly staff. Keep it a secret, so no waiting.
